The Flat Tub Wildlife Management Area encompasses 7,141 acres of state-owned land. The WMA consists of approximately 5,641 acres of upland pine/hardwood forest and 1,500 acres of hardwood drains and river bottomland.

There are 4 main access points:

Located on 1,600 acres near Newton, Elmodel Wildlife Management Area provides opportunity for deer, dove, turkey and small game hunting. Some roads and areas may be closed during certain seasons for dove field management and invasive species control. Camping is not allowed on this property.

Located near Macon, Echeconnee Creek Wildlife Management Area covers 690 acres. This WMA provides archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. Public access to Ocmulgee River tract is only by boat. No camping allowed on the property.

Echeconnee Creek WMA is made up of two different tracts:

Known for its namesake, Doerun Pitcherplant Bog Wildlife Management Area is a 600 acre property located in Doerun, Georgia and is filled with—you guessed it—pitcherplants! The WMA is perfect for those who want to enjoy Georgia's coastal plains and get a good look at a bog ecosystem. Doerun Pitcherplant Bog is home to a rare species and sensitive habitats. To protect these resources, vehicular access is limited to entrance road and parking area.

The Dixon Memorial Wildlife Management Area encompasses 36,100 acres of state-owned property operated by the Georgia Forestry Commission as a state forest. Hunting opportunities include deer, bear, turkey, small game and dove. Approximately one-half of the WMA acreage consists of upland pine forest and one-half is cypress-gum wetlands and creek drainage. ATV's and UTV's are not allowed on property.

Dixon Bay WMA is composed of 300 acres of hardwood and pine in Georgia's coastal plain region. Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey and small game.

Managed for early successional habitat with emphasis on bobwhite quail, Di-Lane WMA is 8,100 acres of federally owned land. Open to seasonal hunting, outdoor enthusiasts can find plenty to do on this WMA. Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey, small game and furbearers, dove, quail and waterfowl.

Located in the southern Appalachian foothills of north Georgia, Carter's Lake WMA is managed by the Department of Natural Resources and the Army Corps of Engineers. The 3,300-acre WMA consists of the land owned by the U.S.

Located in Mansfield, Clybel WMA sits on 6,400 acres and is home to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center. Visitors of all ages can find something to do at this WMA, from visiting the nature center to walking the miles of trails.

Sitting on a whopping 17,016 acres, Bullard Creek WMA provides visitors with an array of activities ranging from hunting, wildlife viewing and great fishing on the Altamaha River. Situated in Georgia's coastal plains, Bullard Creek is a beautiful site for all to enjoy. This WMA provides hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game.
